Projects
I am a youth practitioner, art educator and artist.
I see all as a joined up practice which helps feed and lead the other.
I plan, manage and deliver a variety of workshops as a freelance artist educator. I also work as a guest artist and lecturer on a freelance basis.
I work with students in primary, secondary and with educational programmes and organisations primarily in Cornwall and south-west and have experience working on council arts projects in London.
I am employed by Humphry Davy School, Penzance as a pastoral care worker and at Tate St Ives as an art specialist and facilitator for their learning team.
Previously I had been working Nancealverne School (SEND) as a teaching assistant

‘its all about me!’ Designing and leading an art workshop for St Louis Catholic School, Louisiana , USA. Delivered online
iNovember 2023 - Created and designed an ‘interpretation booklet’ for Kyra Norman and Deeptime moving project for young people and children to interact with while viewing their performance.
December 2022 - ‘Write to your loved one, and/or yourself’ I created a live wall in my exhibition space for visitors of all ages to interact with.
November 2022- Guest artist, educator and collaborator with a local artist, designing and creating ‘a workshop by a neurodiverse person for neurodiverse people’ The Box Plymouth during the British Art Show. With artist Samuel.
October 2022 - artist and creator of ‘Hand Print Spirit Animals’ workshops at Ocean Studios, Plymouth commissioned to host during their Print in action Festival. With Guest artist Caitlin Heather-Dean.
October 2022 - Guest artist and facilitator for Penlee Inspired workshops at Penlee House Gallery
August 2022 - Guest artist and facilitator for watercolour workshops at Penlee House Gallery with ‘The deaf church’
July 2022 - Guest artist for ‘Hyundai and Healthy Seas Cornwall’ at Tate St Ives

January 2019 - Guest artist for the Falmouth University ‘professional development programme’ at Tate, St Ives.
Rachael Woodhead, Tate Learning Curator: Children, Schools and Young People at Tate St Ives, said: "We want to directly connect young people with artists and artistic practices and place them as agents of their own learning. Working across the whole of Falmouth School of Art, we want to improve cultural access and opportunities for more diverse young people in Cornwall through working in partnership with the Higher Education Sector."
June -July 2018 - ‘Cave Art Cornish Style’ A series of workshops with St Marys School (CofE in Penzance) reception years through to year 6 followed by a cave installation @Daisy Laing Gallery, Penzance. `Commisioned to create, lead and install by Newlyn School of Art.
May 2018 - ‘Truro Shapeshifting Project’ in partnership with Truro City Council @Penair School, Truro. A series of workshops with Rob Unett.
February 2018 to present - Member of the learning team at Tate St Ives.
